Who doesn’t love chocolate chip cookies??! They are the ultimate feel-good food! There is nothing better than ooey gooey cookies fresh out of the oven with a big glass of cold milk. The best part of these cookies is that they are diabetic friendly, keto friendly, tummy friendly, low-glycemic, natural, and created in the good ole south (New Orleans LA). I love a good “guilt free” treat and these definitely satisfied my sweet tooth!
I am quite picky when it comes to the texture of food so I was worried these would have a strange grain feel, especially since the mix contains almond and coconut flour but I really LOVED these cookies (and my husband did too)! They reminded me of my grandma’s homemade cookies, so it was a pleasant surprise and a dessert I will be making again.
Swerve Chocolate Chips Cookies
1 box Swerve Sweets Chocolate Chip Cookies Mix
3 Tbsp milk (I use 1% milk)
2 Tsp vanilla extract
3 Tbsp melted butter
Preheat oven to 350 °F.
Whisk together milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter in a large bowl. Add baking mix and gently stir until well combined.
Drop a heaping a tablespoon of dough onto parchment-lined or ungreased cookie sheet. If desired, flatten cookies by gently pressing down.
Bake for 12-14 minutes or until the edges of the cookies are golden brown. Let colon cookie sheet for about 30 minutes (Yes, 30 minutes haha! This is not a typo).
You can purchase a box for $6.97 from Walmart and it makes approximately 12 cookies. Initially I did think this was a bit pricey for a box of cookies, but I did really enjoy the taste and healthy aspect of these cookies! I definitely will buy these again for a special treat every once in a while.
